Watchdog Approves Raunchy Gucci Advert
Calls to ban a controversial advert showing a model with cropped pubic hair have been rejected.The advert, which appeared in the fashion magazine Vogue, pictured the woman showing off body hair shaved into the letter "G".
Knelt in front of her in the photograph and looking at the "G" is a male model with his hand resting on her leg.
The image was created for Italian fashion house Gucci by international photographer Mario Testino.

It said the image was "intimate rather than aggressive" and was "unlikely to cause serious or widespread offence".

ASA accepted Gucci's argument that the advert appeared in magazines targeted at "modern, fashion-conscious and sophisticated adults", and not children.
